As of 7/15/1977. Robert S. Karlblom, Chicago, is a managing director in the Corporate Finance Department, Central and Western region, of Warburg Paribas Becker . He originally joined A.G. Becker in the summer of 1961 working, among other roles, as a clerk on the order desk. He came to the attention of the President in the annual Chicago office golf outing and soon he was invited to complete a special analysis of firm expansion possibilities. Based on his work, he was invited to join the firm when his schooling was completed. Bob received an A.B.degree from Augustana College (1965) and an M.B.A.degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (1967). In 1967 he did join the corporate finance department as an associate, and soon became a Vice-President and major investment banking business producer and implementer.

Bob left Becker in 1982 to become a partner and head of Midwest investment banking for Lehman Brothers, working in the Chicago office. He retired in 2001. Since then he has been active on non-profit boards, and with golf, travel, and relating to twelve grandchildren.
