As of 7/15/1977: Paul Blaney was born in 1933 and raised in NYC. He graduated from Iona College (1955) and from the MBA Progam at NYU (1960) He joned Becker in 1967, having previously worked at Laird and Fiduciary Trust . He came into Becker as a Technology Industry analyst. In time (1968) he was appointed Assistant Director of Research (to Leo Bailey) and then Director (1969). He left Becker to go to Baker Weeks (1972) and returned (1975) to work with Don Hahn and Bob Walsh on market analysis. He again became Director succeeding Stu Porter.

In 1979, Don Trott became Research Director at Becker as Paul left to join Lord Abbett, investment managers, from which organization he retired in 1989.
