As of 7/16/1977. Kenneth E. Nelson, Chicago, is vice president and manager of Execution Services for Becker Securities. He joined the firm in 1956 with extensive management experience in institutional sales. He served as a director of the company from 1969 to 1974 and is chairman of the trustees of The BWP Group Profit Sharing Plan. Ken is a graduate of Northwestern University where he received a B.S. degree in business (1952).

As noted in the Chronicle, Ken was central to the development of the national order handling system that Becker developed in the 1970s, which was widely heralded among leading investment institutions.

Obituary:
Kenneth E. Nelson died at his home in Flossmoor on March 10, 1986, just short of his 56th birthday. He was survived by his widow, Caryn: three daughters and two sons; and four grandchildren.
