As of 7/16/1977. James Trippe, New York, is vice president and manager of the Municipal Bond Marketing Activities of A.G. Becker Municipal Securities. Prior to joining the firm in 1974, Jim was executive vice president and manager of municipals at Ladenburg Thalman & CO. for some 15 years. He attended New York University.

Jim served in the Army in Korea 1950-52. After Becker, he worked at Smith Barney/Citigroup in White Plains. He was very active in local Pound Ridge politics, civic, and other non-profit organizations. He was a member of various clubs, and maintained his membership in the Municipal Bond Club of NY.

Obituary:
James Trippe, 79, of Somers, formerly of Pound Ridge, passed away at his home on August 22, 2006. He was survived by his widow, Nancy; six children; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
