As of 7/16/1977. Howard Sodokoff, New York, is a managing director in the Corporate Finance Department, Eastern region, of Warburg Paribas Becker. Howard was born in Brooklyn and raised in Greenwich. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he received an A.B. degree (1956) and received his M.B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburg Graduate School of Business (1964). He was a second vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank for three years prior to joining Becker in 1969 as a corporate finance associate.

Howard was a very competent, steady, reliable investment banker, with a wide set of talents. Howard assumed overall coordination and leadership of the corporate finance division’s private placement activities in the 1970s. His role was highly effective; the firm’s professionalism was enhanced, the scale of issuing clients was increased, specialization know how and recognition were advanced, and new volume and ranking records were regularly set. His career after the Merrill acquisition of Becker in 1984 is not clear.

Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, FL. Howard Sodakoff, at age 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at his home in Harbour Ridge, Palm City, FL. Howard was predeceased by his wife, Lois; survivors included two sons, five grandchildren, and a sister.
