Geoffrey Seligman joined the Becker organization with the investment by S.G.Warburg and Paribas. He graduated from the Harrow School and from Cambridge University. Geoffrey was a Managing Director of S.G. Warburg and later Chairman. During WW II he was in intelligence. He became Co-Chairman of Becker Warburg Paribas Inc., the holding company for the various components of the A.G. Becker firm created with the 1974 amalgamation. He joined Pierre Moussa in this role. Later, Geoffrey turned over his Co-Chairmanship to David Scholey. Warburg representatives withdrew from Becker governance with the sale of the Warburg interest to Paribas in 1984.

Obituary:
Geoffrey Seligman, at age 80, died in London, on December 17, 1994.
