As of 7/16/1977. Frederick Moss, New York, is chairman of Becker Securities, a member of its executive committee and manager of the firm’s Equity Trading and Institutional activities; in addition, he is manager of the Major Institutions Group and of Block Desk activities. He is also a director and Executive committee member of The Becker Warburg Paribas Group, A.G. Becker and A.G. Becker Municipal Securities. He joined the firm in 1969 after four years as president of the Boston Stock Exchange. Fred is a graduate of Boston University and received an L.L.B. degree from Columbia University Law School (1956). Before joining Becker, he was a lawyer with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Fred also served for many years as the senior manager in the New York Office and as a key member of the Executive Committee. He was a Vice-Chairman of A.G. Becker & Co. when it was a separate entity. He was also the Chairman of the Cincinnati Stock Exchange. Fred resigned Becker in mid-1982 and after a short period joined Moseley et al in Boston as a senior officer.

New York Times, August 1, 2001. Frederick Moss; Stock Exchange Chariman, 72. Frederick Moss . . . died on Friday in New York, where he lived, at the age of 72, from cancer. He was survived by his widow, Jan; two daughters, two sons; a brother; and nine grandchildren.
