Edwin (Eddie) H. Goldberger was born in 1928 and served as General Counsel to A.G. Becker & Co. for many years starting in the mid-1960s. He was a former Quiz Kid and graduated at the top of his class in the University of Chicago Law School. After that, he joined D’Ancona & Pflaum and worked there for over 40 years. He specialized in general corporate and securities law. When Becker established an internal Office of General Counsel in the late 1960s, Eddie was the primary outside counsel to that office. He provided law services to Becker well into the 1970s.

Obituary:
Edwin H. Goldberger died on December 14, 2012, succumbing, after a long battle to the ravages of Parkinson’s disease. He was 84. He was a partner of D’Ancona & Pflaum for over 40 years. He was survived by his wife, Miriam; three children; two stepchildren; and eight grandchildren.
