Claude Wilson was born in the early 1930s in Charlotte, NC and maintained a very pleasant southern accent throughout his business career at Becker. He joined the research department in the NY Office in 1959 as a utilities analyst. In 1962-3, Claude helped to organize the NY corporate finance department and staffed general business projects. In due course, Claude began to assist in the development of utlity company commercial paper issuers, which business expanded considerably under Claude’s leadership and experience.
