Charles (Charlie) Ritter joined Becker in 1925 and provided over 40 years of service before his retirement in 1966-67. He developed an excellent individual and family clientele, many of whom stayed with Charlie through the crash, depression, and war, to become substantial investors by the time Charlie retired. As with all the other employees hired by A.G. Becker in the 1910-1925 era, the group provided mentoring and ethical guidance to the younger cadre of salesmen joining the firm in the 1950 period forward. Charlie was always in good spirits and began at some point to spend time in Palm Beach. Charlie retired with whole group of elders in 1966-67 and there is no information about his death.
